Countryside Villa: Furniture Design in Rajankunte, Bangalore

Countryside Villa is a completed 4,500 sq ft home in Rajankunte, Bangalore, completed in 2026. With a home of this size, the furniture needs to work with the space rather than simply occupy it. For this project, the furniture planning focused on creating a comfortable home where the pieces feel right for the size of each area and support everyday living. The aim was to bring together comfort and practical use while keeping the overall home easy to live in.

The furniture was planned with the villa's generous floor area in mind. Instead of treating furniture as separate additions, the focus was on how each piece would fit within the available space and work as part of the home.

Room proportions, movement, and day-to-day use were considered while planning the furniture. This helped avoid an overcrowded feel and allowed the larger spaces of the villa to remain comfortable and usable. The approach was also kept consistent across the home, so the furniture feels like it belongs to the same residence rather than looking like a collection of unrelated pieces.
